LOUF
A documentary film by Aziz Zoromba

LOUF, directed by Aziz Zoromba, follows Palestinian chef Fadi Kattan and his Canadian business partner, Nicole Mankinen as they set out to open a Palestinian restaurant in Toronto.
As the restaurant takes shape, the unfolding violence in Palestine casts a shadow over their lives and work. Through intimate moments in the kitchen and beyond, the documentary explores food, identity, displacement and the search for belonging.
Produced by the National Film Board of Canada, LOUF is a portrait of the people and stories behind it.
